The results of this year's SSC and equivalent exams may be published within 9th to 11th May.
Inter Education Coordination Board President and Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar gave the information on Saturday.
Tapan Kumar said that a proposal has been sent to the Ministry of Education to determine the possible date for the publication of the results. May 9, 10 and 11—Any one of these three dates is proposed to release the result but everything depends on the approval of the Prime Minister.
Usually the result is published within 60 days after the completion of the examination. Accordingly, the result is expected to be declared by May 11.
The SSC and equivalent exams started on February 15 and ended on March 12. A total of 20,24,192 students participated in the SSC, Dakhil, SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational) exams this year.
