In his welcome speech, Gregorian Math Club Moderator Sajal Rozario said mathematics teaches us to identify our limitations, identify our mistakes and tackle problems. He hoped that the Math Carnival would develop the leadership qualities of the students.

Sister Mabel Costa said mathematics is a subject that everyone dreads but the students participating in this Math Carnival love Math. She wished the students a bright future by encouraging this love for Maths.

In the President's speech, Brother Placide Peter Rebeiro said, our students spend most of their time in mathematics, but many of them score low marks in this subject. Because it is not possible to learn this subject without practicing mathematics. And for this students need to love mathematics. This Math Carnival will play a helpful role in creating love and interest in mathematics among the students.

At the end of the program prizes were distributed among the winning students who participated in various events of the Math Carnival.
