Khulna University of Engineering and Technology has suspended all academic activities for indefinite period from Tuesday.
At the same time, all students have been instructed to vacate the residential halls by 10 am on Wednesday (February 26) in the interest of ensuring students' overall safety.
This decision was made at the 99th (Emergency) meeting of the university's syndicate, which was held on Tuesday, February 25.
Shaheduzzaman Sheikh, Public Relations Officer of Public Relations, Information and Publication Division of Kuet informed this information in a press release sent to the media on Tuesday evening.
