The Hollywood Hills home of actor Keanu Reeves has been hit by a gang of burglars on Wednesday. Reeves was not home at the time of the break-in.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Los Angeles police initially responded to an anonymous call about a possible trespasser on the actor's property at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. But when police arrived at the scene and conducted a search, they didn't find anything suspicious.
However, around 1 a.m. an alarm was triggered, and "multiple men" in ski masks were seen on security cameras smashing a window and entering the home. The culprits allegedly made off with at least one firearm before fleeing the scene, though it's unclear if anything else was taken. Detectives are examining security footage from the home as well as around the neighborhood for additional clues.
The John Wick star experienced another intrusion in 2014, a woman in her 40s broke into the home while he was sleeping and fell asleep in his library chair. Earlier this year, he was granted a restraining order against a 38-year-old man who repeatedly stalked and trespassed on the actor's property.
