Health Minister Dr. Samanta Lal Sen has ordered the immediate suspension of an official for not being present at the workplace after inspecting at the Jaintapur Upazila Health Complex in Sylhet.
The minister ordered the immediate suspension of upazila family planning officer Rentu Purkayastha when he visited the Jaintapur upazila health complex on Wednesday.
Later visiting Biswanath Upazila Health Complex, the minister went to his grandfather's house.
Earlier, the Health Minister arrived at Sylhet Osmani International Airport on Wednesday morning at 8:10 am.
