BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called upon the people to unite to restore democracy through a credible national election.
He said this at a views-exchange meeting at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan on Wednesday.
A 20-member delegation of former and current pro-Chhatra Dal doctors of Rangpur Medical College (RMC) Hospital participated in the meeting.
At the time, the BNP Secretary General wished the party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia a speedy recovery and acting Chairman Tarique Rahman a long life.
The BNP Secretary General said all concerned should play an active role in making DAB stronger, more disciplined and more beneficial to the public in all medical colleges and hospitals of the country.
Professor Dr. Khandaker Ziaul Islam Zia, Professor Dr. Mahamudul Haque Sarkar, Professor Dr. Sariful Islam Mondal, Dr. Tozammel Haque Bakul, Dr. Ziaul Haque, Dr. Abu Md. Ahsan Firoz, Dr. Ashraful Islam and Dr. Mizanur Rahman Shamim were present, among others.
