The National and Islamic Forces in Palestine has called for a general strike today (April 7, 2025) to reiterate condemnation of the Israeli aggression across all of Palestine, with the participation of international supporters and advocates for justice, in protest against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.

The National and Islamic Forces, a coalition of major Palestinian factions issued a press release calling on people in Palestine and across the world to take to the streets on Monday to voice their rejection of the Israeli aggression currently taking place in Gaza.

“We expect the entire globe to join the strike, which comes in the context of a broad international movement involving influential figures,” the coalition said in its statement. “This movement stands against the open genocide in Gaza, the ethnic cleansing and the colonial settlement  in the West Bank.”

The strike aims to stand against attempts to undermine the “just national cause of the Palestinian people,” the coalition added.

Meanwhile, Palestinians and supporters across the world to participate in a strike and show solidarity against Israeli attacks. Massive protests were organized in many world cities, including Morocco and Jordan to affirm support to Gaza and the Palestinian cause.

According to the Gaza health ministry, the overall death toll since October 2023 now stands at 50,695, most of them women and children.
