Dahi Chira 

Ingredients

1 cup flattened rice 
1.5-2 cups yogurt or curd 
Sugar or jaggery
1 banana, sliced

Method

Clean the flattened rice in running water and rinse the water completely through a sieve.
If you are using misti doi, do not mix sugar or jaggery with it. You can use sugar drop candies (batasha) if use yogurt.
Now add yogurt or curd to it and give everything a good mix. 
Add banana.

Lentil soup

Ingredients

200g red lentils
1 onion
1 potato
1 carrot
Salt for flavoring
10g cumin powder
10g turmeric powder

Method

Soak the lentils in cold water for 30 minutes and then strain them.
Peel and chop the onion, potato and carrot.
In a pot, heat oil and sauté the chopped onion, potato, and carrot until slightly softened.
Add the lentils, cumin powder, salt and turmeric powder to the pot. Toss everything together with the vegetables.
Pour in the water and mix well.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the lentils are cooked.
Remove the pot from the heat and blend the soup directly in the pot using an immersion blender until smooth.
Serve the soup with lemon wedges and bread or paratha.

Coconut pudding

Ingredients
4 cups coconut water
1 Tbsp agar agar powder
6 Tbsp sugar 

Method

Put coconut water in a small pot, sprinkle sugar and stir
Heat over medium heat
Add agar-agar powder and stir until dissolved, once the coconut water starts to boil, turn off the heat
Remove mixture from heat
Pour into your choice of moulds
Cool to room temperature, 15 to 20 minutes, set it in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours
Serve chilled
