The Russian House in Dhaka in cooperation with the Serov Academy of Fine Arts organised an annual cultural event dedicated to All-Russian Library Day.
The All-Russian Day of Libraries has been officially celebrated in Russia on May 27 since 1995. On this day in 1795, Empress Catherine II approved the project of creating the Imperial Public Library (today the National Library of Russia) in St. Petersburg, reported UNB.
