According to the exam structure, each subject will first have a multiple-choice (MCQ) section followed by a creative or written section (except for Information and Communication Technology). There will be no break between the two parts.

The time allocated is 30 minutes for the MCQ section and 2 hours and 30 minutes for the creative section.

According to the education board's instructions, candidates must enter the examination center at least 30 minutes before the exam begins. They must bring their admit card and keep it safe. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited during the exam. Folding the answer script is not allowed, and students must correctly fill in their roll number, registration number, and subject code on the OMR form.

Additionally, only general non-programmable scientific calculators are allowed in the exams. Students cannot take part in any subject not listed on their registration form.

Each student must pass separately in the multiple-choice, creative, and practical sections. If a student fails in any one part, they will be considered to have failed the entire subject.
