Directed by noted filmmaker Raihan Rafi and produced by Alpha-i, Chorki, and SVF, ‘Toofan’ made headlines last year during its grand announcement. Dhallywood’s biggest superstar Shakib Khan starred in the film in the lead role. Apart from Shakib, the film also features Tollywood actor Mimi Chakraborty and “Aynabaji”- famed actor Masuma Rahman Nabila.
The film is likely to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid-ul Azha.
“I visited Bangladesh several times for work or travel. It is always a pleasure for me to work there. Also, this is going to be my first project with Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan. Three production companies of the two Bengals have teamed up with this film. I’m very excited for the movie," said Mimi Chakraborty.
According to Nabila,“there is a kind of joy in working again. Also there is an excitement to return to the big screen after so long. I hope the audience will get to watch something great."
