Hollywood star Will Smith recently opened up about his spiritual journey, noting that he read all holy books, including the Quran during the last Ramadan.
The actor made his remarks on the Big Time Podcast hosted by Egyptian journalist Amr Adeeb.
Recalling the difficult times he endured over the past two years, Will Smith said he turned to spirituality to navigate through the hardships he experienced.
The Quran is "very simple" to read, he said.
"I read the Quran from cover to cover during the month of Ramdan.. I love the simplicity of the Quran as it is very simple and things in it are very clear, and so it is very easy to finish reading without any misunderstanding,” Smith added.
Speaking of the Quran, Smith emphasized that the story of the prophet Moses had a positive impact on him.
“I was amazed to go through plenty of references about Prophet Moses in the Holy Qur’an,” he said.
Smith’s podcast interview has gone viral online.
During the interview, the renowned actor delved into different topics, sharing personal anecdotes and insights on different topics.
The Big Time Podcast was aired from Saudi Arabia. Sharing his admiration about the Gulf country, Smith said that this was his third visit to the country.
He added that he loves living in Saudi Arabia.
