Eleven more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,295 this year.
During the period, 1,917 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
Of them, 435 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 1,482 were admitted to different hospitals outside the capital city," the DGHS daily statement added.
According to the statement, from January 1 to October 25 this year, a total of 2,60,829 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them some 2,51,935 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients."
