Eight more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Monday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,341 this year.
During the period, 1,784 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 6,463 dengue patients, including 1,784 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to October 30 this year, a total of 2, 69,388 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them some 2, 61,584 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients."
