Eight more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,425 this year.
During the period, 1,895 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 6,555 dengue patients are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 7 this year, a total of 2,83,593 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2,75,613 patients were released from different hospitals.
