Seventeen more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,449 this year.
During the period, 1,734 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 6,360 dengue patients including 1,649 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 8 this year, a total of 2,87,239 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2, 79,430 patients were released from different hospitals.
