24 more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,520 this year.
During the period, 1,632 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
Of them, 349 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city and the rest outside the capital, the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 5,755 dengue patients, including 1,507 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November this year, a total of 2,96,665 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2,89,390 patients were released from different hospitals.
