Eleven more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Friday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,539 this year.
During the period, 956 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 5,245 dengue patients, including 1,345 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 17 this year, a total of 2,99,050 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2, 92,266 patients were released from different hospitals.
