Six more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,549 this year.
During the period, 1,291 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 4,949 dengue patients including 1,227 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 11 this year, a total of 3,01,255 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2,94,757 patients were released from different hospitals.
