Eight more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,562 this year.
During the period, 1,084 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 4,462 dengue patients, including 1128 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 11 this year, a total of 3, 03,536 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2, 97,512 patients were released from different hospitals.
