One more child has died of confirmed measles and two more have died of suspected measles in the last 24 hours as of Tuesday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
DGHS data show that between 15 March and 21 April, 25,935 suspected measles cases have been identified nationwide. Of them a total of 3,805 measles cases were confirmed through laboratory testing.
The DGHS said the total number of confirmed measles deaths between March 15 and April 21 stood at 38. In addition, 185 children have died with symptoms consistent with measles.
