The Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2026 will kick off on December 17 of this year and will continue until January 17 of next year.
The schedule was finalized at a meeting held today at the Shahid Munier Chowdhury Auditorium of Bangla Academy.
The decision was taken in view of the upcoming national parliamentary elections and the holy month of Ramadan.
Cultural Affairs Secretary Md Mofidur Rahman presided over the meeting, which was attended by Bangla Academy Director General Professor Mohammad Azam and representatives of the Bangladesh Publishers and Booksellers Association.
