Two more children died with measles and measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With these, the total number of confirmed deaths from measles has risen to 90, while suspected deaths have reached 495, it said.
According to DGHS data, a total of 1,324 suspected measles cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the overall suspected cases to 70,936 since March 15.
During the same period, 53 new confirmed measles cases were reported, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 9,049.
Since March 15, a total of 56,886 suspected measles patients have been hospitalised, of whom 52,841 have recovered.
