National Citizen Party (NCP) election steering committee chairman Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan has alleged that the BNP is working to rehabilitate the Awami League.
He made the remarks at an emergency press conference held at the NCP office at Bangla Motor in the capital on Saturday (February 7) night.
Stating that "if the BNP comes to power, fascism will not be prosecuted, but rather the path will be paved for the rehabilitation of the fascist Awami League," Asif Mahmud said that if any such initiative is attempted, it will be resisted on the streets.
The NCP leader alleged that instead of a fair and acceptable political change in the country, there is an attempt to transfer power through secret agreements, which is contrary to the expectations of the people.
