The Jamaat-e-Islami-led 11-party alliance has announced a 36-day program to mark the second anniversary of the July mass uprising of 2024.

Hamidur Rahman Azad, the party's Assistant Secretary General, announced the program at a press conference held on Thursday at Jamaat-e-Islami's central office in Dhaka's Moghbazar.

He said that this series of programs has been undertaken to raise public awareness about the July mass uprising, build public opinion in favor of implementing the July Charter, and demand justice for the enforced disappearances and killings that occurred during the tenure of the previous government.

According to the schedule, seminars calling for the implementation of the referendum verdict will be held in districts and metropolitan cities across the country between July 1 and 15.

Additionally, art exhibitions and graffiti-painting events will be held on July 23, 24, and 25. Alongside commemorative gatherings at key sites of the July mass uprising, protest rallies will be held across the country—in districts, upazilas, and metropolitan areas—on August 5.
