
Bangladesh's ace cricketer Tamim Iqbal fell ill while playing a Dhaka Premier League match at BKSP in Savar.
He was taken to Fazilatunnesa Hospital next to BKSP after experiencing chest pain, a source in the BCB medical department said.
According to the source, it was not possible to take Tamim to Evercare Hospital due to his poor physical condition. He is being treated at Fazilatunnesa Hospital as his physical condition has not improved enough to be taken by helicopter.
Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman encountered a potentially severe injury during a training session with the Bangladesh Premier League’s (BPL) franchise, Comilla Victorians, at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on February 18 (Saturday). He was struck on the head by a ball hit by his teammate Liton Das and promptly taken to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
