Actor Arifin Shuvoo and producer Liton Haider have been allotted plots by Rajuk (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha) in Purbachale.
Purbachal New Town Project Officer sent a letter to both of them confirming the allotment of plots on December 31.
According to Rajuk sources, the 18th board meeting of Rajuk on November 27, it was decided to allot plot to actor Arifin Shuvoo and producer Liton Haider.
Anisur Rahman Mia, Rajuk's Chairman, stated to the media, "Following the government's directive and in accordance with the allocated quota, discussions were held during Rajuk's board meeting. The board's decision on the allocation was indicative and duly approved."
He said, many applications come for allotment of plots. Plots are given from the Purbachal New Town Project when the government decides. Because, now there is no other place to give plot except Purbachal, he added.
Arifin Shuvoo recently acted as Mujib in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's biopic 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation'. The actor took only Tk 1 for playing the title role of Bangabandhu in the film.
