Seven more children died with measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning, bringing the total number of deaths to 709 since March 15.
Of the new deaths, one was classified as a confirmed measles fatality, while six others were suspected, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With the latest update, the number of suspected measles deaths has risen to 615, while the number of laboratory-confirmed measles deaths reached 94.
A total of 744 new suspected measles cases were reported during the 24-hour period, bringing the cumulative number of suspected cases nationwide to 98,266.
Meanwhile, 45 new confirmed measles cases were recorded, bringing the total number of laboratory-confirmed infections to 11,594.
Since April 10, a total of 81,955 patients with suspected measles have been hospitalised across the country, of whom 78,287 have recovered.
