Actress Nusraat Faria was released on bail from Kashimpur Women’s Central Jail in Gazipur on Tuesday afternoon.
She was freed from the jail around 3:30 pm, said the Jail super of the female prison of Kashimpur Jail Kawalin Nahar.
Earlier in the morning, a Dhaka court granted bail to Nusrat Faria.
Judge of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court-1, Mustafizur Rahman, passed the order on a bond of Tk 5000 after hearing a prayer for bail.
Immigration Police on May 18 arrested Nusrat Faria from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) while attempting to go to Thailand.
She was later handed over to the Bhatara Police Station, where Nusrat was shown arrested in the attempted murder case following primary interrogation. On Monday, she was sent to jail.
