Ten more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,327 this year.
During the period, 1,800 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
Of them, 407 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city and the rest outside the capital, the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 7,091 dengue patients, including 1,975 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to October 28 this year, a total of 265,862 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them some 257,444 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients."
