Nine more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Monday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,417 this year.
During the period, 1,794 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 6,662 dengue patients, including 1,807 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 3 this year, a total of 2,81,698 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 2,73,619 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients."
