Twelve more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,595 this year.
During the period, 759 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 3,924 dengue patients, including 1,046 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 25 this year, a total of 3,07,196 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 3,01,677 patients were released from different hospitals.
