Five more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,615 this year.
During the period, 968 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 3,587 dengue patients, including 1974 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 29 this year, a total of 3,11,014 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 3,05,812 patients were released from different hospitals.
