Three more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Friday morning, bringing the death toll to 237 this year.
During the period, 411 more patients were hospitalized with viral fever, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of them, 113 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital under Dhaka North City Corporation while 97 were hospitalized in Dhaka South City Corporation.
A total of 47,461 dengue cases have been reported since January 1, 2024.
