Five more children died with measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours till Friday morning, bringing the total number of deaths to 729 since March 15.
With this, the total number of suspected measles deaths has jumped to 636, while the confirmed deaths have reached 93, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
During the period, DGHS recorded an additional 968 suspected measles cases and 139 confirmed cases, bringing the totals to 103,961 and 12,425, respectively, from March 15 to date.
