Six migrants, including four Bangladeshis, were killed in a fire at a car garage in Doha, Qatar.

The fire broke out in Doha's Feroz Abdul Aziz area on Sunday night (local time). It later spread to a nearby building, reports UNB.

Of the four Bangladeshis killed, two were from Feni, while the identities of the two moretwo are yet to be confirmed. The other two killed were Pakistani nationals.

The deceased from Feni were identified as Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, a resident of Dis Mohammad Bhuiyan house in Ward-7 of the municipality and Mir Hossain Farhad of Sonapur village in Jayalskar union of Daganbhuiyan upazila.

Mamunur Bashir Milon, chairman of Jayalskar union, confirmed the death of Farhad and Bahar Mia Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, counsellor of Ward-7 of Feni Municipality, confirmed the death of Mahfuzur.

"An MoU will be signed between the National Payments Corporation of India and the Bangladesh Bank to make transactions in rupees and taka between Bangladesh and India easier," said the foreign minister in a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday.
