A seasonal low lies over South Bay of Bengal, extending its trough to Northeast Bay of Bengal.
"A low-pressure area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining area around November 22 (Saturday). It is likely to intensify," said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday (November 18).

In a five-day forecast signed by meteorologist Shahanaj Sultana, the BMD says:
Day-1 (commencing 9:00am of November 18):
Rainfall: Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Fog: Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during early morning.
Temperature: Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Day-2 (commencing 9:00am of November 19):
Rainfall: Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Fog: Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during early morning.
Temperature: Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Day 3 (commencing 9:00am on November 20):
Rainfall: Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Fog: Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during early morning.
Temperature: Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Day 4 (commencing 9:00am on November 21):
Rainfall: Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Temperature: Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Day 5 (commencing 9:00am on November 22):
Rainfall: Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Temperature: Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Outlook for next 5 (five) days: Day and night temperature may fall gradually.
