BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will address the nation on Monday ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and the Referendum, party sources said.
Bangladesh Television (BTV) is scheduled to broadcast his speech between 7:00pm and 8:00pm.
On the same day, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman and Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Mamunul Haque are also set to deliver addresses to the nation, which will be aired on BTV.
It is learnt that Dr Shafiqur Rahman's speech will be aired between 6:00pm and 7:00pm, followed by Tarique Rahman’s address from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
On Sunday, BTV aired similar national addresses of NCP Convener Nahid Islam and Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, also known as the Chormonai Pir.
Mufti Rezaul Karim’s speech was broadcast at 6:00pm, followed by Nahid Islam's address at 7:00pm.
The 13th National Parliamentary Election and the Referendum are scheduled to be held on February 12.
