The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Sunday (26 November).

According to the source of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, the chairmen of all education boards will hand over the summery of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday morning. 

Later, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will hold a press conference at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka and announce the details of the results after 11am.  

The candidates will be able to know the results through educational institutions and online after 11am. 

To obtain the result through SMS, candidates should go to the message option on their mobile phones, type HSC in English letters, then write the first three letters of the board name with a space, followed by the roll number with a space, and the year of passing with another space.

The message should then be sent to the number 16222. For example, a candidate from the Dhaka Board should write "HSC DHA 123456 2023" and send it to 16222. The result will be conveyed through an immediate return SMS. 

Alternatively, to check the result through the website, students need to enter the site, one will have to navigate the result option, and submit his or her roll and registration numbers to view the result sheet.

The HSC and equivalent exams for this year began on August 17, but due to a natural disaster, the Chittagong, madrasa, and technical board exams were postponed for a few days.

A total of 1,359,342 students - 6,88,887 boys and 6,70,455 girls - registered for this year’s HSC exams, 155,935 more than the previous year.
