Schools to open June 26 as summer vacation shortened

Primary and secondary schools will reopen on June 26 instead of July 2 as the Education Ministry has decided to shorten the summer  vacation.

However, Saturday will remain as weekly holiday, said a release of the Ministry issued on Thursday.

According to the academic calendar, the Eid-ul-Azha and summer vacation in schools started on June 13 and was scheduled to continue till July 2.
