All Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board have been postponed until July 16 due to the ongoing adverse weather and the flood situation.

Prime Minister's Adviser and PMO Spokesperson Mahdi Amin disclosed this information at a press conference on Saturday (July 11) afternoon.

He stated that the Prime Minister is continuously monitoring the government's efforts to tackle the flood situation. With a sense of responsibility and by according it the highest priority, the government has taken multifaceted measures to deal with the natural disaster. 

He further said that the Prime Minister has issued directives to stand by the flood-affected people after holding meetings with the administration in the affected areas. "The Prime Minister also asked party leaders and activists to participate in relief operations,” said Mahdi Amin.

Earlier, on Friday (July 10), the HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled for July 11 in all districts under the Chattogram Education Board were postponed due to adverse weather and the flood situation.

The districts under the Chattogram Board are Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban, and Khagrachhari.
