Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s recently released action thriller Jawan continues to achieve new heights. After releasing on September 7, 2023, the film has managed to surpass the lifetime collection of Sunny Deol's Gadar 2 at the box office. It has created another milestone by becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film in India.
On Thursday, the film collected an impressive figure, taking its total collection to £50.25 million. With this, SRK’s action thriller has surpassed the lifetime collection of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared official box office figures of Jawan on his Instagram handle. The film, directed by Atlee, has become the highest-grossing Hindi movie in India. The total BO collection of the SRK-starrer now stands at Rs 525.50 crore. On the other hand, the lifetime box office collection of Gadar 2 is Rs 524.75 crore.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Dunki. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will feature Taapsee Pannu romancing SRK. The movie is reportedly headed for a box-office clash with Prabhas' Salaar on December 22, 2023.
