Eleven more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Friday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,317 this year.
During the period, 1,431 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
Of them, 365 patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city and the rest outside the capital, the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 6,798 dengue patients, including 1,929 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to October 27 this year, a total of 264,062 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them some 255,947 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients."
