Six more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours till Friday morning, bringing the death toll to 1,583 this year.
During the period, 645 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country," the DGHS daily statement added.
A total of 3,848 dengue patients, including 1,050 in the capital, are now receiving treatment at hospitals across the country.
According to the statement, from January 1 to November 24 this year, a total of 3,06,437 people have been affected by dengue across the country. Among them 3,01,006 patients were released from different hospitals.
