Three more children died with measles-like symptoms in the last 24 hours till Monday morning, bringing the total number of deaths to 588 since March 15.
With this, the total number of suspected measles deaths has reached 498, while the confirmed deaths remained the same at 90, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
A total of 1,134 suspected measles cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the overall suspected cases to 72,070.
During the same period, 45 new confirmed measles cases were reported, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 9,094.
Since March 15, a total of 57,902 suspected measles patients have been hospitalised, of whom 53,722 have recovered, according to the DGHS data.
