At least 100 people have been killed and more than 150 wounded after a fire broke out at a wedding celebration in the district of Hamdaniya in Iraq's Nineveh province on early Wednesday, state media and local officials said.
According to a "preliminary" tally confirmed to AFP by by a spokesperson for the Iraqi health ministry, Health authorities in Nineveh province "have counted 100 dead and more than 150 injured in the fire at a marriage hall in Al-Hamdaniyah".
