It may indicate the existence of a previous enmity.
Slain Mamtaz Begum Arzu's younger brother Nurul Huda Rakib said: "The entire family of my brother-in-law Babul have received Italian citizenships some days ago. Police have kept the bodies at the hospital for postmortem. My nephew Arafat Hossain Ayon's condition is critical. He is now undergoing treatment at the ICU of a hospital. Steps would be taken to bring the dead bodies to the country on completion of postmortem and necessary legal steps."
It is learnt that the detectives are interviewing neighbors, relatives, and friends. Investigators have not ruled out attempted robbery, a personal dispute, or if the victims knew their attacker and let them into the home.
