The July Proclamation will be presented to the nation on August 5 (Tuesday) at 5 pm, marking the first anniversary of the fall of the Awami League government.

The interim government has finalised the draft of the July Proclamation and plans to unveil it before the nation on Tuesday, said Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder on Saturday.

“The July Proclamation will be presented to the nation on Tuesday (August 5) at 5:00 pm in the presence of all political parties involved in the mass uprising,” he said.

"An MoU will be signed between the National Payments Corporation of India and the Bangladesh Bank to make transactions in rupees and taka between Bangladesh and India easier," said the foreign minister in a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday.

Besides, the neighbouring countries are likely to sign two more memorandums of understanding regarding cooperation in agricultural researches, and extension of the existing cultural exchange programme for two years, said the foreign minister.
