Barrister Jaima Rahman, daughter of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, participated in the election campaign on Saturday to seek votes for her father in the Dhaka-17 constituency.
She began the campaign around 12 pm in the Police Plaza area of Gulshan, then moved through various roads, engaging with the general public and distributing election leaflets.
She handed out leaflets to pedestrians, rickshaw pullers, CNG drivers, shopkeepers, street vendors, and voters visiting shopping malls.
Zaima Rahman also visited offices and banks in the area, requesting support for her father, the candidate for the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol.
Addressing voters, she said, "My father Tarique Rahman is the candidate for 'Sheaf of Paddy' in Dhaka-17. I seek your votes for him. Please make him victorious by voting for the Sheaf of Paddy."
