Popular Actor Humaira Himu has passed away at her residence. When she was brought into the Uttara Bangladesh Medical College (UAMC) around 3:30 PM on Thursday and upon inspection, the on-duty doctor of the hospital declared her dead.
Her death has created a mystery. Some are saying she committed suicide while, some others are saying it’s a murder.
Himu's boyfriend is missing along with his mobile phone, with such information, Ahsan Habib Nasim, President of the Actors' Association said that it is not possible to say whether it is suicide or murder.
SI Ashraf Hossain of Uttara West Police Station said that the police went to the hospital after receiving the information. The police have registered the matter. Himu's death is now under investigation, he added.
He also said that whether Himu committed suicide or was a victim of murder, it is being investigated.
Humaira Himu started her acting career with theater in 2006. She began acting on television with the series "Chayabithi." Later she proved her acting abilities in popular TV series namely "Bari Bari Sari Sari," "Housefull," "Gulshan Avenue,"'Sonaghat,' "Chairman Bari," "Batighar," "Shonena Sey Shonena," etc.
